A Bigger Heart
His arms are stronger than mine
His legs are longer than mine
His car is always cleaner
And his grass is always greener
But my heart is bigger than his
And my love for you is stronger than his .
His shirts are whiter than mine
His souffles are lighter than mine
His video is newer
And his faults are fewer
But my heart is bigger than his
And my love for you is stronger than his .
He's more intelligent, much more elegant
More charming and polite than me
He's more responsible, much more dependable
He's everything I long to be .
His office is higher than mine
His martinis are drier than mine
His roses are taller
And his overdraft is smaller
But my heart is bigger than his
And my love for you is stronger than his .
When you wish upon a star
When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you
If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do
Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfilment of their secret longing
Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true
Brighton In the Rain
I've never been to Athens and I've never been to Rome
I've only seen the Pyramids in picture books at home
I've never sailed across the sea or been inside a plane
I've always spent my holidays in Brighton in the rain.
I've never eaten foreign food or drunk in a foreign bar
I've never kissed a foreign girl or driven a foreign car
I've never had to find my way in a country I don't know
I've always known just where I am and where I'll never go.
I've read travel books by writers who have been to Pakistan
I've heard people telling stories of adventures in Iran
I've watched TV documentaries about China and Brazil
But I've never been abroad myself; it's making me feel ill.
I've studied several languages like Hindi and Malay
I've learnt lots of useful sentences I've never been able to say
The furthest place I've ever been was to the Isle of Man
And that was full of tourists from Jamaica and Japan.
I've never been to Athens and I've never been to Rome
I've only seen the Pyramids in picture books at home
I've never sailed across the sea or been inside a plane
I've always spent my holidays in Brighton in the rain.
The LEMON LAW in Singapore
A lemon is a pretty fruit on the outside - but sour on the inside.
A lemon is ALSO a word for something you buy that looks good in the shop, but is no good when you take it home.
" I bought a watch for $50 last week, but it stopped working yesterday!- It's a lemon!"
What can you do with a lemon? Can you bring it back to the shop? Can you get a new one? Can you get a refund???
Answer: YES you can! because of a new law called the Lemon Law - since Sept 2012 in Singapore.

Poor doggie!
Food; you know, I just couldn't stop thinking about it.
(Yeah?)
So, yeah, so, you know, I went to the fridge and I opened up the meat drawer, you know what the meat drawer is, right?
(Yes, what was in there?)
Well, I'll tell you what was in there. You know that bacon, that's like, maple? Maple flavoured?
(The maple kind, yeah)
So I took that out, (yeah) and I thought (yeah), I know who would like that.... ME! So, I ate it!
(Awww, no!, you're kiddin' me!)
Nope! Not kiddin'! You know I also noticed there was some BEEF in there. Yeah, you know, STEAK, you know, juicy - well I ate that, too!
(Aaghh!)
But I went back to the fridge, just a few minutes ago, and I put something together really special ... you're gonna love this one... I took some CHICKEN (Yeah)
I put some cheese on it, and I covered it with ...
(Covered it with what?)
..... covered it with cat treats.
(Yeah?)
Then guess what?
(What?)
I gave it to the cat!
(aaghh!!!!)

It's just over there, see it?
How do I get to Changi Airport?
The best way is to take a taxi - or you could take the MRT East and change at Tanah Merah.
How far is Plaza Singapura from here?
It's about 10 minutes walk. Just go straight and you'll see it on the left; you can't miss it.

There's one opposite the DBS Bank and I think there's another one at the entrance of the MRT station.
Excuse me, where's Street 11?
Sorry, I have no idea / I don't know

Take the shuttle bus and get off at Orchard Road. Cross the road and it's about 2 minutes on the left.
